The CONCERT.....
These 2 shows is considered short. He sang about 30 songs each night as
compared with Hong Kong and Singapore over 40 songs. Something different
from others is, Jacky is not allowed to sing"messy hair". The Malaysian
government banned the song due to its "sexual" context. He replaced it
with "love.fire.flower". He sang a number of his Mandarin hits but none are from
his latest album. During encore, the audience is not allowed to choose
the songs, he sang whichever he prepared.
The AUDIENCE.....
Those sitting in the VIP seats (given by sponsor) mostly were the rich.
Many brought along maids and children. They sat with their arms folded.
In the first night, Jacky told them release themselves and do not sit in
this manner. However, the rest were very high. They filled the stadium
with beautiful light sticks, screams and loud clapping. The atmosphere
was terrific.
There were some irritated clowns whom used laser pointers to shine onto
him. Jacky just turned his body each time they shone at him. When he
went to change, they shine at the band members. The security cannot stop
it as the crowd it too big and the clowns kept switching on and off.
The CONCLUSION.....
For those who have seen the concert in HKG and SIN, I think you will not
enjoy these. First, it is an outdoor area, you cannot watch in cool
comfort as Malaysia is a hot place. Secondly, it was like a part of the
original concert, there are many songs which he did not sing.
