Jacky made a wonderful appearance at Henry Kaiser Arena, in
Oakland, California. He told us to free our spirits...clap, sing, and
dance. He started off the concert wearing leather pants, orange
velvet shirt and blue velvet jacket with blue spiky hair. I was
shocked to see him playing a guitar. I never knew about his new
hobby. After the prelude song, it was like a punk rock concert. He
had an unique punk rocker mien. I was shocked with his new style of
singing but I still relished it. They used a lot of electrical
guitars. Jacky did a lot of head bobbing, up and down.
He didn't do his usual formation dancing, instead his hips did a
lot of in and out motion, kind of like seductive dancing. He got
down low while swinging his hips back and forth. It looked extremely
sexy and appealing to me. =) Towards the middle, things started to
settle down. He sang a lot of his old songs, and the fans enjoyed
it.He sang a song by Elton John, "Candle in the wind" and not to be
harsh or degrading, Jacky needs to practice his english. One song
called "Ngaw Lawn Cheen Sheet" had a good beat to it, so my friend
and I got up and started to dance, but some party pooper told us sit
down. We were trying to free our spirit.
It has only been an hour and a half and he told us that the
concert is over. He left the stage and the fans started to cheer,
clap, and stomp their feet, begging him to come out. Amazingly he
came out! The concert was not only spectacular but romantic. He
dedicated the song "yau gor yun" to his wife, May. They had a big
screen showing baby pictures of them two and a cartoon of them being
in love. It was so sweet. He made a lot of jokes and they were
pretty funny.
I was one of the lucky ones who got to touch him. I gave him a
big'o smile and he gave me one back. =) I screamed out some weird
stuff, like "I want to seduce you Jacky" and "Take off your shirt!"
On a scale 1-10, I give his concert a 9. It was a spectacular,
astounding, marvelous, astonishing, stupendous and miraculous
concert. Filled with style and uniqueness. Every minute was
exhilarating with his passion of singing.
