Jacky's L.A. concert was not as good as Hong Kong. Jacky was great as
LAConcert was so incredible that I thought I died & in heaven
I would just like to warn you who are reading this, I am about to
pour my heart and soul out!!!!

always but the system had a few static pops through the speakers. The
feed back from the mic interrupted him a few times. The overall sound
of the concert system was ok, not great. I'm sorry Jacky had to put
up with it. His performance was great! He is "GOD OF SING" At his
Hong Kong concert he was not feeling well but put on a wonderful
show on Feb 20-21.

Heaven sums it all up!
The show was absolutly incredible... it was the second concert in my
life and the second Jacky concert since the last one in LA (I've only
been to two concerts). I will first describe the surrounding first...
the Amphitheatre rocked... it was much better than shine! The big
screen on both side allowed everyone even in the $45 dollars seats to
see his face. The stage had no lavish props, just Jacky, his band
members, chorus, great lighting affects, and pure Jacky energy. He
first sang "release yourself" to kick off the concert. When he came
on... my heart almost dropped out. He sang many many songs... from
old to new... he sang all cantonese songs except for two during the
show then 4-5 during the encore... He joked around a lot and for
heaven's sake they are actually funny... you can totally tell it was
from the heart..... not made up to fit the concert..... My friend,
her brother and I were cracking up the whole time....... We are
cantonese so we totally know what he was talking about.... fortunate
for me, I know both Cantonese and Mandarin....so I had nothing to
worry about.. but during the show..... many people yelled "speak in
Mandarin"...... I understand... but his mother tongue is Cantonese.
but he did try to speak Mandarin and sang 4 Mandarin songs during
encore.
It was quite funny to me that he had purple puffy hair.... the more
confident he gets in life the more wild he gets..... even his dancing
the behavior showed no sign of regret and reservation...... he gave
his all and his heart and soul out there... he was totally enjoying
himself. It was especially sweet of him to do that every special
tribute to his wife.... the video he played while he sang "someone"
was so loving..... there were pix of him and his wife when they were
babies, children, and teens. The cartoon of how they met, their ups
and downs, their marriage and their life together till they get old
was so touching, I almost cried.
OK, here comes my heart and soul part..... Before he sang candle in
the wind...... he talked about his idols... or hero.... then he asked
out into the crowd who is your idols...... ...I yelled out as loud as
I can from the bottom of my heart "Jacky" in chinese..... as it
happened, not everyone yelled that and only a few people did.... so
he totally heard us particularly... I was so happy....... I was so
happy...... My section was ok. in section 13.... still cannot really
see him. except for the screens..... but just hearing his voice was
enough for me..... I didn't care....... I was so into the show.....
in my section...... everyone cheered.. I did almost after every
song..... I had a time of my life..... I'm still on my high
today..... I waited for him to come to LA for 4 years..... and
finally he came...... I can only say...from the beginning when I
started listening to his songs here and there on the radio when I was
young....to now... whole 9 years ...... I continue to idol him as my
inspiration more everyday....
I got a glove and contest cards....too..... totally cool..... but
what was the coolest was just as my group was leaving, a concert guy
gave us to concert poster (that was at the concert hall)..... I was
in heaven ..... before the show.... I talked about getting one but I
never thought I would actually get one.............
ok..... to make this long story short.... his show was fully packed
and again showing that his fans are cross generation and gender....
his fans are genuine fans that love him for his music and voice, for
his character and honesty, for everything.....
Jacky...... believe us when we say we will never forsake you...... we
are behind you 100% percent..... I know when I am my dad's age....
and eating at a resturant.... suddenly seeing someone familiar
"Jacky... my inspiration".... I will just be as excited as my dad and
tell my son or daughter that Jacky was the best of the best...... he
was #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I am waiting for his next concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
